Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Analysis
The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry emphasizes training in both basic and applied aspects of chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis. Students are equipped with fundamental knowledge and are encouraged to apply these concepts to specialized areas of pharmaceutical research. The department actively supports Pharm.D, B.Pharm, and D.Pharm programs, contributing to a well-rounded academic environment.
The department boasts well-equipped laboratories featuring modern research instrumentation, audio-visual teaching aids, and Wi-Fi-enabled facilities, ensuring a technologically advanced learning atmosphere.
Research Focus
Our research is centered around two strategic themes:
- Drug Discovery
- Analytical Method Development and Validation of Drugs
The department has received research funding of ₹30 Lakhs from prominent government agencies such as AICTE, DST, and VGST. This funding has enabled impactful research, resulting in publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, the department has filed patents and is actively working toward commercialization of research outputs.
