The Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society is a prestigious educational institution in Karnataka, established in 1958 by Late Shri Mahadevappa Rampure, a visionary and educationist. It was founded to cater to the needs of higher education, particularly in the fields of medicine, engineering, pharmacy, law, education, commerce, arts, science, and other technical disciplines.

In its mission to provide higher education in the backward regions of the state, the Society has significantly contributed to the socio-cultural and politico-economic advancement of the region. The Hyderabad-Karnataka area comprises Gulbarga, Bidar, and Raichur districts, where the Society implements multifaceted development programs from time to time.

Guided by democratic values, the Society is efficiently managed by a Board of Governors, consisting of the President, Secretary, and 13 other elected members. Each council member is a responsible and knowledgeable individual with an immaculate track record in their respective fields.

Currently, the Society runs 46 educational institutions across various disciplines, including Health Sciences, Teaching Hospitals, Technical Institutions, Degree Colleges, Pre-University Colleges, High Schools, Primary Schools, and Hostels.
